Chiune Sugihara, Japanese Consul resided in Kaunas in 1939 and 1940.
We issued "Visas for :ife", which saves around 6000 Jewish persons from Holocaust.
Together with Honorary Consul of Netherlands J.Zwanderdijk, Chiune Sugihara, helped to escape people via Soviet Union, Japan to Curasao island, which they never reached.
